There will come a time when your kid wants something, and once they fix their mind on it, GET OUT OF THE WAY! Nothing will stop them, and then you'll see the power of an ADHD brain outside of the confines of school. Early in my coaching career, I got it in my head that I wanted to be in professional baseball. When my ADHD brain got locked on to that idea, there was nothing that was going to stop me. I decided to call every team in baseball until one of them gave me a chance. I called every team for 64 days in a row. I made 1920 phone calls and only got 1 response, but that's all I needed. A guy named Bill Gievett returned my call and gave me a chance.  Long story short, that started my career in professional baseball.
